Lent begins on Ash Wednesday with the Imposition of Ashes in a sacred remembrance of our mortality.

Worship Opportunities:

12noon – Worship with the Imposition of Ashes. Soup and Sandwich lunch to follow in the Fellowship Room.

7:00pm – Worship with the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. Special music by the Chancel Choir.

 

If you are unable to join us in worship the pastors will be in front of Holy Trinity, at 1080 Main Street, Buffalo, offering “Ashes on the Run” street side from 7:30am – 9:00am. Get your ashes on your way to work!

Choirs, Candlelight, and Communion! Christmas Eve at Holy Trinity is a wonder for the heart, mind, and all the senses. Take in the grand music. Hear again the story of love and wonder. Discover why God couldn’t wait to come and be born among us. Sing Christmas Carols with family and friends. Reconnect with the mystery of the divine, and go home with a joy that fills and flows into all the earth.

Holy Trinity’s Chancel Choir, under the direction of Directors of Music, Justin and Kristen Pomietlarz, lead us into this festive night with grand music by composers including Paul Manz, William Dawson, Caroline Mallonee, and Steven Sametz among others. The choir will be accompanied by brass, timpani, and harp.

Pre-service Festival Music begins at 9:45pm Christmas Eve with the Candlelight Service beginning at 10:30pm.

Gather your family, especially the young ones, for this candlelight service especially geared for the young and young at heart. This service hold all the mystery of the evening with Christmas Carols, the reading of the Greatest Story Ever Told, and a message fit for all. Holy Communion will be served and candlelight will sparkle as we sing Silent Night.
